The Group has coordinated with Vietnam Primavera to organize Primavera P6-project Management software training course for engineers and managers. The course took place in two weeks (19, 20, 21 and 26, 27 of June).

Mr. Vo Hong Son, Deputy General Director of Thien An Infrastructure JSC said: 'Board of Directors has made a decision to set up this course in order to enhance the capacity of the staff, keep applying information technology deeply in professional project management due to the fact that several software programs at present like MS project no longer meet increasing requirements and extended scale projects'.

During the course, students learned about Progress management, Resource management, Cost management via the in-depth analysis and active discussion about the management process based on the sound basis of PMBOK as well as direct application on Primavera P6 software such as establishing project objectives, defining scope and requirements, implementing a detailed plan relied on assumptions and constraints on business environment, manpower, etc.

In addition, by using this software, Thien An’s engineers and leaders can learn how to control and optimize not only the schedule but also resources based on the balance of time, volume and cost as well as apply those on a typical project like Metro line projects.

The course not only conveyed set and manage skills a particular project but also took student multiple projects simultaneously leverage effect the most effective resources. This will bring huge benefits to Thien An when it takes part in competition and operations in many sections.

Mr. Dong Quang Dung (Thien An Infrastructure JSC) said: 'The course related to our present work, so all of us were very enthusiastic and excited to join. In-depth and methodical lectures from trainers made us excited although classes took place on the weekend '. Mr Dung believes that after the course, not only he but also his colleagues continue learning and working more effectively with Primavera software.

After ending this course, Mr. Nguyen Duc Truong (Thien An Energy JSC) excitedly said: 'We would like to give thanks to Board of Directors who let us have a chance to work with a highly applicable software like Primavera and to join other enhanced knowledge training courses for modern technology before '.

According to Mr. Vo Hong Son, Thien An’s aim is to keep training and developing human resources who are capable of taking over important positions in large-scale projects. Therefore, Thien An has early set up plans for other training courses of knowledge and skills to help staff approach and master techniques, new technologies, which form a solid foundation for the breakthrough development in future.
