Thien An’s team of site engineers has recently joined an internal training course for modern construction techniques combining with a visit to the workshop in Hung Yen province.

Identifying the importance of seizing technology as well as modern techniques of construction, the management board of Thien An Infrastructure JSC. has held a training course to retrain knowledge for site engineers. In the morning of August 18, Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Project Director of FLC Twin Towers project, made a presentation to disseminate experience about top-down method statement, especially in the phase of B4 basement construction. According to Mr. Dinh, the identification and prevention of risks in the processes of excavation, transport and use of materials utilizing the natural light or labor safety, etc. Those are absolutely crucial during building the basement B4 which is 18m deep underground.

Subsequently, Mr. Vo Hong Son, Deputy General Director of Thien An Infrastructure, also discussed more about the modern technology of diaphragm wall and bored pile construction. During the discussion, he also explained the deep causes of several common incidents during the construction of diaphragm walls, bored piles and proposed plans for handling, remediation, control and prevention. At the meeting, Mr. Vo Hong Son shared a number of issues related to individual development plan, enhancing work efficiency with special attention to attitude (the principle of 90/10) and aiming to target as well as priorities of the work (the principle of 80/20).

As part of internal training sequence, the site engineer team of FLC Twin Towers project also has the opportunity to visit the workshop in Hung Yen where the Thien An’s machinery is assembled before and after the implementation of projects. Although many site engineers have worked with a lot of kinds of machines before, but some of them still proved quite unexpected for modern mechanical systems and size of the workshop. A range of the most modern machines in Vietnam such as: diaphragm wall excavators LIEBHERR HS855 HD, LIEBHERR HS853 HD; LIEBHERR HS841 HD; desander 100- 200m3/h; bentonite mixer, Toyo ... submersible pump and auxilary device.

Leadership of Thien An Infrastructure said that in the future, Thien An will further training and self-training in all parts of the Group.
