Mr. Nguyen Tuan Dung, who is now head of Project Management (Thien An Infrastructure JSC) shares: 'I myself have worked for a few companies and each of them owns an integrated process for new personnel. When I started to work there, they just showed an overview of their companies, the system of processes, regulations, rules and introduced me to other departments. But at Thien An, I found out one thing that made it different and interesting: 'lunch for integration''.
Mr. Dung recalled: 'I entered the cafeteria with a bit nervous feeling of a newcomer. However, after warm handshakes, friendly glints, then came the stories about the vision, mission, core values and the future development orientation from our bosses, I was at ease. The feeling at the time was secure, fully optimistic about the future and I wanna join to contribute to the success of the Group'.
The lunch in Thien An
At Thien An headquarters, two large dining-rooms were built to serve lunch for the leaders and staff. Not only do leaders guarantee for food safety in importing but they also make rooms for planting clean vegetables on each floor. This makes most people feel delicious and more secure in time of unsafe of our vegetables and food markets today.
For each new employee, leaders of the Group are creating favorable conditions to be sociable and cultural understanding. Therefore, these employees will be given priority to enjoy lunch with the leaders for the first time they are in.
Ms. Lam Thi Hue, recruitment staff of HR Department, said: 'At first time seeing our leaders in stern look, I felt a little nervous, but when sitting together, Mr. Quang (Vice Chairman) made intimate conversations, and Mr. Them (Chairman) started with jokes, which made me feel our leaders are simple men and always care about staff'.
It is known, for the first time, while the number of personnel was limited, the Group released the policy of offering staff grants for lunch. However, Thien An has changed in both ways of business management and culture orientation since then. 'Lunch for integration' was born from that time. Indeed, the fact that new personnel regardless of role or position approach Thien An in this special way makes them feel engaged, stronger and builds up confidence and motivation while working at Thien An.
Thien An has undergone 10 years of development. Many generations of employees of the Group has had a bonding experience of 'lunch for integration' like Mr. Nguyen Tuan Dung, Ms. Lam Thi Hue... All of them just realize that Thien An is becoming a warm big house and they are making their best efforts in work to contribute to the success of Thien An Group.
